One Year Anniversary

It's hard to believe- but a year ago today, we finally got to hug and meet face-to-face, Asher and Annalise!  It's been an amazing year- here it is in a nutshell!  Check out our adoption blog for more details!
What a difference a year can make!
All 4 kiddos over the year
The kids wearing the Family Rocks t-shirts we bought them from Show Hope
We continue to be stretched, humbled, blessed, surprised, by this life we have been given!  Thank you, Lord, that Your mercies are new with each day!  We look forward to the future and the plans You have for us!

Christmas Break

After all the wonderful-ness of NY, we headed home for a relaxing week!  We had a few friends pop over, but mostly the kids played outside, we had fun food for breakfast, the kids played outside, we went to the movies, the kids played outside, we played games, and the kids played outside some more!  It was low-key and everyone loved it!
Working on the school projects
Movies at the historical Byrd Theater- everyone was perfectly behaved!!
New Years Eve we spent with our dear friends who are the same kind of crazy as us- 4 kids, 3 of theirs are adopted!  They have a basement so we fed the kids and they then disappeared into the basement and we all enjoyed adult conversation!  Around 8pm, we turned on a Countdown- thank you NetFlix!  Everyone, except Adeline, was happily snoozing in bed by 9pm!  Adeline and Al stayed up until the REAL countdown!
Par-tay time!!
Watching the Countdown
Enjoying some dancing
Happy 2015!!  (at approx 8:30pm....)
My midnight kiss- at 10pm- my brave girl stayed up!
Alden received an origami set for Christmas- and he and Adeline made a box full and sold them to raise money for the poor people.  What a sweet idea- they did raise $5 and will buy some food to donate to the local food pantry!

Asher and his BFF, Eddy!
Introducing the kids to Annie- more on this- Asher and Annalise both were so surpassed to see Groupa on the TV!
